Being sick sucks.

It's just the worst. I know. But. What's worse, is watching your kid go through it. We were schedule to take a mini vaca to Charleston SC this weekend...a quick three day belated anniversary/birthday celebration for Dion. Niko woke up the day we were set to leave with a fever I. 101.6. It came and went the rest of the day, but he was acting fine. We packed up and headed out...

...big mistake.

By the time we made it an hour away from home, his fever had spiked to 104.3. We turned around immediately and headed home to the doctors.

Just a virus, so no treatment. And he's refusing to take his Tylenol and Advil without a huge fight. He gave dion a run for his money today...very little napping, very little eating or drinking. And that was after being awake from almost 11pm to 330am...

Here's hoping for a better night.
